Knockepott

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Knockepott (High German: bone pot ) is a stew from western Münsterland . It was originally cooked from pork paws , ears and tails to use leftovers.

Today for Knockepott you take pork knuckle with feet, beef, onions, spices and a little vinegar and let the whole thing cook for a long time until the meat crumbles into fibers. It is eaten with bread or potatoes.
