Knockraheen 1 is a stone circle in the townland of Knockraheen ( Irish Cnoc Ráithín - German  "Hill of Little Ráth " ), about 9.0 km north of Macroom in County Cork in Ireland .

Knockraheen 1 is one of only 14 known “ radial stone circles ”, “ radial stone cairns ” or “ radial cairns ”. The genus is particularly found in the southwest of the island (counties Cork and Kerry). The group includes stone circles whose stones are arranged radially and which always have a stone mound in the center . Other examples are the circles of the Cairns by Kealkill and Knocknakilla .

Much of the stone material of the Cairns from Knockraheen 1 is still in situ on the north side , while it is completely absent in the southern part. The stones of the circle with a diameter of seven meters are no longer present, apart from seven stones that are 0.2 to 0.5 m high.

Knockraheen 1 is located 23 m southeast of a pair of stones, a menhir and 60 m from a “ five stone circle ” from 4.1 to 3.6 m in diameter, a stone circle in the neighboring townland of Lackaduv ( An Leaca Dhubh , “black slope "). These socializations are common.
