Stone circle with menhir in the foreground

Knocknakilla ( Irish Cnoc na Cille , ( German  "Hill of the Church" ) also called Mushera Beg) is a closely neighboring monument group in the townland of the same name in Millstreet County Park , consisting of a stone circle , a menhir ( English Standing Stone ) and a ring cairn , 7.8 km south of Millstreet in County Cork , Ireland .

The circle is a damaged five-stone circle , of which only the two portal stones and the western stone are in situ , while the "axial or lying stone" has overturned. The fifth stone is missing. To the southwest of the circle stands a large menhir, the remainder of a pair of stones, the other copy of which lies on the ground between the menhir and the circle. In 1970 a small ring cairn with a radial stone circle was discovered in the east of the circle while cutting peat .

Nearby is the complex of Cloghboola Beg ( An Chlochbhuaile Bheag ).
