Knut Richter (economist)
Knut Richter (born May 31, 1943 in Freital ) is a German economist . Richter received his first professorship in 1981 at the University of Addis Ababa . There he worked mainly in the field of mathematics . In 1984 Richter was appointed to the Technical University of Karl-Marx-Stadt (from 1986 Technical University, today Technical University of Chemnitz ), where he taught until 1992. From 1992 until his retirement in July 2011, Richter held the professorship for general business administration, in particular industrial management, at the European University Viadrina .
Since May 2012 he has headed the Chair of Business Administration and Management at the State University of St. Petersburg .
