Kočno ob Ložnici

Kočno ob Ložnici is a village on the right bank of the Ložnica River in the Slovenska Bistrica municipality in northeastern Slovenia . The area is part of the former Lower Styria region .

Church of St. Aegidius

The central point in this small hamlet is the Church of St. Aegidius, which was built on the hill above the village. It was first mentioned in writing in 1545. The current structure was built between 1900–1903. It is worth mentioning for its interior design, which was created by Mihael Pogačnik, Franc Zemlak and Josef Straub.

Slamnik hay rack

The slamnik hay rack is an example of a double hay rack that is very rare in this part of Slovenia. The hay rack is made of oak and covered with red brick. It was built in 1884 by carpenters from Šentjur in three months of work. The hay rack is covered with wooden lattice work. In the past it was used to dry hay, today it is used to house agricultural implements and machines.
