Hoffer suitcase

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Suitcase Hoffer was a one-hour evening show on German television with Karl Dall and his servant "Enno von Schwerin" ( Gerd Donie ). The format was created and developed by Frank Elstner .

In the shipment, lost suitcases were auctioned at the airport , the owners of which could no longer be traced. The candidates had to bid without knowing what was in the selected piece of luggage, so they could also bid for less valuable items. The subsequent opening of the suitcase with a thorough investigation of the contents was the real show. It was not uncommon for such valuable things as cameras, laptops, designer goods, etc. to be in the suitcases - in other words, what everyone actually hoped for (hence “suitcase Hoffer”). However, it was especially fun for the public when, for example, used underwear and the like were found, which the servant "Enno von Schwerin" had to examine intensively.

A total of 100 episodes ran on the Tele 5 channel from 1991 to 1992 . In 1993, DSF started an afternoon rerun, but soon canceled the show.
