Kokholm Dyssen

The Kokholm Dyssen (also called Søster-Svenstrup Langdysse 1) is a Langdysse with two chambers in an approximately 17.0 × 13.0 m large, tree-covered, plowed and edgeless hill. It is located on Kokholmvej, southwest of Dåstrup, west of Viby on the island of Zealand in Denmark . The dolmen dates from the Neolithic around 3500–2800 BC. And is a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK).

The western chamber measures 1.45 x 1.25 m. It consists of four side stones, two gang stones and a large cap stone.

The eastern chamber measures 1.8 × 1.3 m. It consists of four side stones, of which the southern one is only half the width of the chamber, two corridor stones and a large capstone broken into two pieces.

Nearby are the Birkede Langdyssen 1 + 2, the Søster-Svenstrup Langdysse 2 and the Søster-Svenstrup Videdysse .
