The Kolping College (lit. VšĮ Kolpingo kolegija , English Kolping University of Applied Sciences ) is a Catholic private university in the Lithuanian second largest city Kaunas . The college is supported by the international Kolping Society , which unites more than 600,000 members in 60 countries around the world. The university is located in the old town of Kaunas . The college awards the degree of a professional bachelor's degree .

history

In 1996 the higher Kolping School ( Kolpingo aukštesnioji mokykla ) was founded. The founder is Lietuvos Kolpingo draugija (LKD), a Catholic charity and support organization founded in 1993 . After the accreditation in 2001, the higher school became a university . In 2013 the company had over 70 employees. Since the spring semester of 2012/2013, international students have been offered three courses in the English language : business administration , finance and social work ; since 2013/2014 international economy (business).
