Komaitho
Komaitho ( Greek Κομαιθώ ), also Komätho , is in Greek mythology the daughter of Pterelaos , the king of the Taphier .
Komaitho fell in love with Amphitryon , who was at war with Pterelaus. However, Pterelaus could not be defeated because Poseidon gave him a golden hair that made him invincible. Komaitho cut her father's hair out of love, and Amphitryon conquered the Taphic Isles . After conquering the islands, Komaitho was killed by Amphitryon.
