Commission Council was a titular council title similar to the Kommerzienrat , which was awarded in Germany until 1918.

The honorary title was given to business people who had rendered service to the common good . It could be awarded to people in the most varied of positions, but remained behind the commercial council title despite equality in social relation. Another increase in rank was the award of the honorable title of Privy Commissioner .
