Communist Party of Poland (1965-1996)

The Communist Party of Poland was an illegal party in the People's Republic of Poland , which saw itself in the tradition of the Communist Party of Poland , which existed from 1918 to 1938 .

In 1965 the Polish Maoist Kazimierz Mijal founded the illegal Communist Party of Poland. It developed a wide range of activities and was something like the internal party opposition in the PVAP . After a series of arrests of top officials, Kazimierz Mijal left the country and went to Albania , where he broadcast programs in Polish on Radio Tirana . When he came into conflict with Enver Hoxha , he left Albania and traveled to China in 1978 . In 1983 he returned to Poland. Formally, the KPP existed until 1996, but in practice it was no longer active.
