Community of Flexing
The Beuggen community is a registered association and a Christian community that was founded in 2005. The community lives in a shared apartment at Beuggen Castle in Rheinfelden (Baden) . The Beuggen community lives in the former self-catering house "Schütte" of the Protestant conference and meeting center at Schloss Beuggen.
spirituality
The Protestant and Catholic Christians aspire to a common life of following Jesus Christ on. They try to integrate the monastic elements and traditions under a modern interpretation in their open life.
In their self-image it says:
“We are Protestant and Catholic Christians who are united in the longing to follow Jesus Christ together. We want to shape our life out of God and towards God. We want to grow in love for God, our neighbor and ourselves. Our faith includes common prayer, binding life with one another and service to others. We take responsibility for the integrity of creation and stand up for peace and justice. (...) The Bible is our orientation. It bears witness to how God has revealed himself and how people have walked their way with God in many (...) ways. "
deals
In addition to the daily prayers of the day , participants are invited to participate in the spiritual life. In addition, various evening or half-day events or seminars and “temporary co-existence” are offered.
