The Competence Center for Innovation and Market-Oriented Management is an institute of the Ludwigshafen am Rhein University of Applied Sciences and conducts research for federal and state ministries, private and public foundations and companies, among others.

history

In 1999 the institute was established at the Ludwigshafen am Rhein University of Applied Sciences. It is financed exclusively from third-party funds, mainly from the federal and state governments, private and public foundations and companies. The institute has joined forces with other institutes and professors to form the newly formed research focus on sustainable corporate development, which, along with two other research focuses, has been defined as the nucleus of essential synergetic research work at the university.

Focus

The main focuses of the competence center include:

  • Sustainable corporate development: Sustainability in the corporate context relates to economic, social and ecological goals.
  • Innovation management: brainstorming and generation of ideas, evaluation of innovations as well as R&D project and portfolio management
  • Service management: service innovation, service marketing (portfolio, price, sales, brokerage), service quality and service efficiency
  • Technology management: Evaluation of technology use, e-business models / collective intelligence and technologies in the world of work
