Confederation of Sandomir
The Confederation of Sandomir was a confederation that was formed on May 20, 1704 in Sandomierz in defense of King August II . Gotthold Rhode states 1702 as the year of foundation. The Confederation was formed in response to the Warsaw Confederation . Stanisław Ernest Denhoff (1673-1728) was appointed Confederation Marshal.
The Confederation was formally dissolved in 1717 by the Mute Sejm .
