The Kongehøj (also Kongens Forhøjning called) is an approximately 2.5 m high grave hill with about 16.0 meters in diameter in the forest Hjelm Skov southwest of Aabenraa in Jutland in Denmark , which now serves as a viewing platform.

The original burial mound is badly damaged due to various interventions. In 1969, on the 750th anniversary of the Battle of Lydanisse (Estonian Lindanise - now Tallinn ) in Estonia in 1219, a memorial stone was erected on the hill.

The legend tells that after the battle in Estonia, Valdemar Sejr came to the Tingsted for South Jutland in Umehoved near Aabenraa and presented the Danebrog from the hill . Here Erik II. Emune was murdered by Sorte Plov in 1137.
