Budapest Congress Center

The Budapest Congress Center is located just south of Buda's old town at the foot of Gellert Castle in the east of Budapest . It is located in the part of the 12th district ( Hegyvidék ) on the Danube side at the BAH (short for Budaörsi, Alkotás and Hegyalja) junction.
In addition to large conferences , exhibitions and concerts are held in the congress center . With concert seating, the building holds 2,000 seats. It is connected to the neighboring four-star Novotel Budapest Congress hotel by a passage. The Hotel Mediterran is on the other side of the junction.
