Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk
Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk ( Kongsberg Arms Factory ) was a former state-owned company in Norway founded in 1814. Among other things, the company manufactured the Kammerlader rifle, the Krag-Jørgensen rifle and the Krag-Petersson rifle. After breaking the CoCom guidelines, the company was dissolved in 1987. The defense area was taken over by the Norsk Forsvarsteknologi , which later renamed itself to the Kongsberg Group.
