Konkola Blades FC is a football club from the small Zambian town of Chililabombwe , founded in 1956 , which plays in the Zambian Premier League , the country's top division. The club plays its home games in the 20,000-seat Konkola Stadium . After promotion in 2003 and a year-long stint in the Premier League, the Konkola Blades managed to return immediately to the top division as champions of Division One in 2005 .
