Konrad Gaudenz Freiherr von Ketteler (* 1647 ; † 1689 ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and canon in Münster .

Life

Konrad Gaudenz Freiherr von Ketteler came from the Westphalian noble family von Ketteler . He was born as the 12th child of Goswin Ketteler zu Middelburg (1570–1646) and his wife Anna Elisabeth von Neuhoff called Ley. He studied at the University of Paderborn , was born on November 9, 1664 for a Dompräbende in Münster presented and adopted on 18 November of this benefice in possession. July 28, 1668 was the day of emancipation. Konrad Gaudenz was a subdeacon and on September 9, 1680 opted for the Winterswijk archdeaconate . He remained in both offices until his death.
