Konrad Gehringer

Konrad Gehringer (born June 4, 1939 ; † December 12, 2003 ) was a trained car mechanic, bus driver and had a one-man business in Pforzheim for the manufacture of electronic organs.

Life

Gehringer was best known as the inventor and developer of the Speleonaut , a kind of one-man submarine for exploring underwater caves. This development was intended in particular for his friend Jochen Hasenmayer , who used it to research the Blautopf .
