Konrad Jochheim
Konrad Jochheim (born October 15, 1895 in Offenbach am Main ; † May 26, 1983 ibid) was an artist as well as an architect , graphic designer and “specialist in advertising construction”. He painted many watercolors and oil paintings, often with motifs from Africa.
He is best known for his Jochheim Deutsch font , which was invented around 1934 and which was frequently used by the National Socialists .
Jochheim is also very well known for its bronze relief. In 1942 he made a bronze relief by Georg Christoph Lichtenberg available to the University of Göttingen . Today the relief is in the Lichtenberg lecture hall of the University of Göttingen.
From 1946 he was a member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists Berlin.
