Konrad Nimetz

Konrad Nimetz (born January 11, 1895 in Vienna ; † March 10, 1956 there ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and master locksmith. From 1945 to 1956 Nimetz was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Nimetz attended elementary and community school and then completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith. After military service in 1915, he subsequently committed himself to service in the military. In 1923, Nimetz became self-employed as a locksmith in Berndorf and was mayor of Berndorf from 1945 to 1956 after the Second World War. He was also a guild master between 1947 and 1950. Nimetz represented the SPÖ between December 12, 1945 and March 10, 1956 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
