from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Konsorten TM are an "electro rock" band from Vienna , Austria .

biography

Originating from the rave and techno scene of the 90s, the multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Peter Zirbs started a kind of electronic sound expedition in Vienna in 1997 together with techno DJ Charly "Speedio" Grafeneder. In 1998 the then duo presented the still unofficial and experimental album "Sod". After a major signing in 2001 ( EMI ), TM consorts switched back to an indie label in 2002 and landed an airplay hit with the song "lang_auf" on the Austrian alternative broadcaster FM4 . In addition, Zirbs and Grafeneder concentrated on composition work for international art films - the films "Established", "Masses" and "Haiku Who" by Auge Animated were shown at over 30 relevant film festivals worldwide. The duo also produced the soundtrack for the film "Großglocknerliebe" (Bayerischer Rundfunk).

In 2005 consorts TM with the producer and drummer Harald Salaun and keyboardist and singer Angel Rice had temporarily grown to a quartet and said goodbye to purely electronic club music with guitars and analog instruments.

The EP Sonnenbahn was released in 2013 under Pez Gartmayer & Konsorten TM as a forerunner for the 2014 album on Puppengold Records .
