Constantine Gil

Konstantin Gil (* 1946 ) has been practicing Taekwondo since 1967 .

With his assistance, the International Taekwondo Club (ITC) Wiesbaden and Taekwondo Friends Mainz (TFM) were founded. He was a co-founder of the Taekwondo section in the German Judo Federation (DJB) and later also the German Taekwondo Union (DTU) as a club delegate. He also wrote the first German-language textbook about this sport in 1972 and worked for many years on the DTU board as a federal press officer.

In his competitive career, he took second and third places at national level (DVWS, DJB and DTU), as well as a first place with the team. He was German champion in the Poomsae competition.
