The hard coal mine Ruda (Polish: Kopalnia Węgla Kamiennego Ruda ), which was founded on July 1, 2016, is the association of three previously independent mines in Ruda Śląska , Poland.

As part of the restructuring in the Polish hard coal mine , Polska Grupa Górnicza (PGG) decided to combine the previously independent mines Pokój , Bielszowice and Halemba in a joint operation. You are now forming "companies" (Polish: Ruch) within the new company.

As reported in the Polska Grupa Górnicza issue 4–5 / 2016, it is hoped that the end of funding on Pokój by December 31, 2016 will result in savings of PLN 35 million annually for the new composite mine from 2018 onwards. The coal extracted on Pokój is then to be completely lifted to the surface and processed in Bielszowice .
