Korean Basketball League

The Korean Basketball League (KBL) is a professional basketball league in South Korea that began playing in 1997. The season starts in October and ends in April. The KBL consists of ten teams that have to play 54 games (27 home and 27 away games each) per season. This is followed by playoffs for the six best teams. Each team is allowed to have a maximum of two foreign players in their ranks, but they were previously not allowed to be taller than six feet and eight inches (approx. 202 cm).
