City Hall Hagen

The Stadthalle Hagen is an event hall opened in 1981 in Hagen . It serves as a concert hall and congress center.

building

The hall is on the edge of the city center, in a former quarry in Volmetal . The filigree building is the first work of the architect Eckhard Gerber and was built in the typical style of the 1970 / 80s. The materials concrete, wood, steel and glass allow the town hall with its foyer and generous glass surfaces to open up visibly to the city. The rocky landscape penetrates the town hall, which follows the existing topography in steps. The center of the building is the Great Hall, which can seat 1,650 people with normal seating.

Todays use

The Stadthalle Hagen is marketed and managed by the Congress & Event Park Stadthalle Hagen GmbH. Galas, company events, conferences, exhibitions and concerts take place there.
