The Korseke is a polearm from Europe.
description
The Korseke is available in different versions. They usually have three leaf-shaped, double-edged blades. The blades usually have a strong central ridge. The middle blade is longer than the two outer blades and is connected to the grommet used for fastening. The two outer blades are significantly smaller than the middle blade and are often moveable. The outer blades can be folded outwards from the rest position, in which they lie directly against the blade, into a V-shaped position. They serve to intercept sword or epee blows. A counterattack is possible with the middle blade. The Korseke is a version of the Pike . Their construction is similar to the types of the Chauves Souris , the Partisan and the Runka . There are numerous versions that are equipped with movable or fixed outer blades or sickle-shaped blades and are similar in appearance to a storm fork . It was used by soldiers in Europe.
