The Kottonmouth Kings are an American rap rock band from near Los Angeles .
Career
The Kottonmouth Kings were founded in 1994 in Orange County, California. They had their first success three years later with the title Suburban Life , which was part of the soundtrack of the film Scream 2 and became a radio hit.
Their first EP followed in the following year and shortly thereafter the debut album Royal Highness and 1999 Hidden Stash . With their third album, High Society , they made it onto the Billboard 200 for the first time a year later . Since then, more albums have followed almost every year and have made it into the US charts again and again.
With their eleventh studio album, Long Live the Kings , in 2010 they achieved their best hit parade listing with number 3 in the rap, number 6 in the rock and number 26 in the official album charts.
