Krämerbartlhaus Wagrain

Market square in Wagrain, Salzburgerland, before the big market fire

The Krämerbartlhaus in Wagrain is known today as Haus Kirchweger. The building is managed as a commercial and apartment block. The house is currently the post office and an advertising agency .

The name "Krämerbartlhaus" is likely to refer to the owner Bartlme Göschl, who bought the house at the end of the 18th century, where the trade was "a merchant's fairness, including the Turchschnid". In the sources it is referred to as a "civil rights dwelling including gardens, the Schmidhaus".
