The Adamów power plant is a Polish lignite power plant in the city of Turek with a total output of 600 megawatts . The power plant went into operation in 1966 and has five units . The Adamow coal-fired power plant is to be shut down for good by 2017 .
Operator of the power plant is Zespół Elektrowni P AtNow - A Damow - K one in SA ( PAK ).
