LKH Bregenz

The Bregenz Regional Hospital is a 275 bed hospital and is located in the provincial capital Bregenz in Vorarlberg at Carl-Pedenz-Straße 2. The new building took place in the years 1970–1974. The former hospital of the city of Bregenz was taken over by the state on January 1, 1992 and incorporated into the state-owned Vorarlberg hospital operating company on January 1, 2001 .

The modification

The LKH Bregenz has been rebuilt since 2001 and is one of the largest public renovations in Vorarlberg. The planning is carried out by Baumschlager & Eberle , Itten + Brechbühl AG and Volker Giencke , the construction will take place in several stages in order to enable ongoing hospital operations and is expected to be completed in 2018.
