Krassimir Gergow
Krassimir Gergow ( Bulgarian Красимир Гергов ; born September 30, 1961 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian entrepreneur and former employee of the communist state security in Bulgaria . Its main business is related to advertising and media in Bulgaria.
Life
He completed training in sports journalism, tourism, alpinism and orienteering. In 1994 he acquired the right to broadcast the American TV channel CNN in Bulgaria and founded the first national private television in Bulgaria, the CNN broadcasting program (Triada - CNN). He was also the founder of the first national private radio in Bulgaria, together with Radio Free Europe (RFE). He takes care of building the advertising and media business in Bulgaria, establishing international connections with leading media companies and attracting investments for the Bulgarian economy. He actively invests in the development of tourism in Bulgaria and founded several golf complexes. Krassimir Guergov is considered one of the most influential people in the advertising and media business in Bulgaria.
Memberships
Gergow has been the President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Advertising Agencies in Bulgaria since 1996 . He is a member of the International Advertising Association (IAA). Since 2001 he has been the President of the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Golf Association and has played a leading role in popularizing this sport in Bulgaria. He has been the President of the National Council for Tourism since 2008. He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Bulgarian Football Union since 2008, where he is responsible for marketing and advertising and also the President of the Media Commission. He is the founder of the Gestuno Foundation , Union of the Deaf in Bulgaria. In 2009 he founded and leads the Diplomacy and Business Club with diplomats from diplomatic missions in Bulgaria.

In 2001 Krasimir Gergov founded the Bulgarian Golf Association (BGA) and is currently its president. The Association is a member of the International Golf Federation, European Golf Association and the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, St. Andrews, Scotland . BGA operates under the golf development program in Bulgaria, so far 5000 children have been trained under this program. The association offers children the opportunity to play golf for free in the St. Sofia and BlackSeaRama complexes. Krasimir Gergov founded the Bulgarian golf community and started building up some sports complexes in Bulgaria. With the idea of developing sports tourism, he started the projects:
- "St. Sofia Golf Club & Spa “- golf course with 18 holes near Sofia; First golf course designed according to the standards of the American Golf Association in Bulgaria.
- “Blacksearama, Gary Player Signature” - an 18-hole golf course designed by Gary Player .
- “Thracian Cliffs” - a seven-star golf complex near Balchik , which is managed by General Hotel Management.
