Mizarai crater

Mizarai Crater is an impact crater in Lithuania , Druskininkai municipality . It is named after the village of Mizarai , which is located in the center of the crater. The crater was found by the Lithuanian geologist Gediminas Motuza Matuzevičius (* 1946) during a seismic survey. It is eroded and covered by glacial deposits, so it is not visible. Its diameter is 5 km and its age is estimated to be 570 million years.
