Cross of loyalty for king and fatherland

The cross of loyalty for king and fatherland was on July 24th, 1823 by the Portuguese King John VI. donated.

There was decoration for the intended recipients if they had followed the King to Villa Franca in the period from May 30th to June 5th, or Don Miguel to Santarem.

The order decoration showed a cross with the image of the king on the front. On the reverse of the decoration the motto of the order Fidalidade ao rey e Patria and the year 1823 .
