Pair of Kings - The King Brothers is an American sitcom of the Walt Disney Company from the years 2010 to 2013. The series was produced by Disney XD and It's a Laugh Productions .

The second season was seen from June 13, 2011 in the United States. On December 12, 2011, the Disney Channel announced the production of a third season. Furthermore, Mitchel Musso announced that he will not be returning for the third season and that Adam Hicks will be given a leading role instead. On November 3, 2012, Adam Hicks announced that there would be no fourth season.

Boomer and Brady are two sixteen-year-old twins of different skin colors. The two lead normal lives with their uncle and aunt in Chicago . When Mason, the royal protector of the throne of the island of Kinkow, visits the two in their high school, they realize that their lives will change dramatically in the near future.

While Mikayla, Mason's daughter, helps them both in their endeavors, Lanny, their cousin, claims the throne and tries to sabotage them.

Brady
White twin and King of Kinkow. Brady is in love with Mikayla and tries to impress her all the time, which is usually not very successful. Brady disappears at the beginning of the third season.
Boomer
Dark-skinned twin and King of Kinkow.
mason
The fearless royal protector and loyal friend of Brady's and Boomer's parents. He was very good at surfing in the past and made fitness videos that were only sold in Finland. Mason is also an advisor to kings as well as Mikayla's father.
Mikayla
Mason's daughter. Brady is in love with her. She is very responsible and was once turned into a mermaid. Mikayla is very confident and strong.
Lanny
Brady's and Boomer's cousin claiming the throne. In almost every episode he tries to lure Brady and Boomer into a trap or even kill them. Lanny is also the ambassador to Finland.
Yamakoshi
He's Lanny's fish. Since Lanny was little, he has tried to explain his destiny to overthrow kings from the throne. In the 2nd season episode 26 Lanny learns that Yamakoshi was one of the 1st kings of Kinkow: King Kalakay.
Boz
is the triplet brother of Boomer and Brady. He takes Brady's place for season three. Mikayla reminds him of his ex-girlfriend.

Minor characters

  • Aunt Nancy ( Tichina Arnold ). She is the sister of Brady and Boomer's mother.
  • Uncle Bill ( John Eric Bentley ). He's Nancy's husband.
  • Hibachi ( Martin Klebba ). He loses a surf tournament to Brady and Boomer.
  • Oogie ( Doug Brochu ). He is a Flaji and can make himself invisible. He befriends Boomer. Brady doesn't like Oogie.
  • Aerosol ( Leslie-Anne Huff ). She is the evil orange leader of the mermaids. She plans to overthrow the kings and take over the castle.
  • Amazonia ( Madison Riley ). She is the blue mermaid.

Charisma

The series premiered on September 10, 2010 on the US Disney Channel. The premiere on Disney Channel saw 4.1 million people, which is the best reboot of a Disney XD series yet. The series has been running on Disney XD since September 17, 2010. In Germany, it has been on the German Disney XD channel since January 14, 2011 .
