Aaron Stone is the first " Disney XD " original series. The series premiered on the start of Disney XD on October 9, 2009 and ended after a total of 2 seasons with 35 episodes on July 30, 2010 with the two- parter Mutant Rain . It is about a youngster named Charlie Landers who fights evil as Aaron Stone.

16-year-old Charlie Landers is the best online player in Hero Rising and has been chosen to fight evil in the real world. He uses his name Aaron Stone , which he also uses as his nickname in the game. All of the storylines in the game can also be seen in the real world. For example, every evil character from the game also exists in reality and Aaron / Charlie solves some puzzles by remembering played sequences from Hero Rising and taking over the solutions to the tasks from the game into reality. He fights against the Omega Defiance - a club of genetically optimized brains - and is supported by STAN (Sensible Tactical Assisting New Humanoid), an android, and other players from Hero Rising .
At the beginning of the second season, numerous mutants escape from the so-called Sector 21, where the Omega Defiance carried out genetic experiments on humans. The mutants, led by Damaged, set themselves the goal of destroying the Omega Defiance and getting the world to accept them as freaks . In fact, Damaged General Cross kills and holds Dr. Necros caught in the beginning. What happened to Necros or the rest of the Omega is unknown. The escaped mutants have different superhuman abilities. For example, Damaged has telekinesis , Mr. Galapagos is able to control electricity, and U is a shape shifter.
