Wyatt Bernstein, 12, is the only boy in his family. He has three sisters: Amanda, Cleo and Jasmine. Wyatt longs for a little brother and a room of his own.
His sisters and mother, Mel, invite him to a toy store, the do-it-yourself-a-friend shop, for his birthday. Wyatt is not enthusiastic about this at first, but then reluctantly joins in. He builds a doll called Crash, which suddenly comes to life. The chaos takes its course.

In 2014, the pilot episode “Here comes a crash!” Received the Emil Children's TV Prize awarded by TV Spielfilm magazine .
Spin-off
On July 10, 2014, Disney XD confirmed the production of a pilot episode for a follow-up series from Crash & Bernstein entitled Commando Crash . In Commando Crash , Crash was supposed to attend a military school. Adam Dorfman, Cameron Ocasio , Armaan Juneja, Nicholas Stargel and Megan Goodman were hired as the cast . A series order did not follow, however.
