Gabby Duran and the Untamable (Original title: Gabby Duran & the Unsittables ) is an American sitcom from the Walt Disney Company . The series is produced by Omnifilm Entertainment . The series premiered on October 11, 2019 on the US Disney Channel . A German broadcast has not yet taken place.

After Gabby stood behind the shadow of her successful mother and young talented sister for years, even after they moved to Havensburg, Gabby finally finds her moment when she got a job offer from Principal Swift in which she has to babysit a group of alien children. She fearlessly accepts the job to protect the alien children and their secret identity.

On August 3rd, Disney Channel gave the go-ahead for a science fiction sitcom. The series was shot in Vancouver , Canada . After the Descendants 3 premiere on August 2nd, it was announced that the series would launch on October 11th on Disney Channel. On October 7, 2019, it was announced before the start of the first season that there would be a second season.
