Zeke and Luther is a television series from the Walt Disney Company . The first episode ran on October 9, 2009 as a German premiere on Disney XD . It has been aired regularly on Disney XD since November 13, 2009. The second season has been broadcast on the US Disney XD since March 15, 2010. The series has been running in Austria on ORF 1 since June 26, 2010 and on Super RTL in Germany since July 24, 2010 . The second season ran since October 9, 2010 and the third season since September 9, 2011 on the German Disney XD. The second and third seasons were also repeated on the Disney Channel . Repetitions will continue on the German-speaking Disney XD.

On August 2, 2010, Disney extended XD Zeke and Luther for a third and final season.

Zeke and Luther live in the northern California beach community of Pacific Terrace, where they either relax in the sunny driveway, perfect skateboarding tricks, or ride their skateboards to the Pacific Pier. The two 15-year-olds are close friends and set out to become world-famous skateboarders. Many challenges await on the way to fame and the youngsters also have to accept some defeats.

The German dubbing was created under the dialogue direction by Christian Weygand by the dubbing company FFS Film- & Fernseh-Synchron GmbH in Munich.
