Nate Daniel Hartley (born January 17, 1992 in Ravenna , Ohio ) is an American actor , best known for his role in the movie Drillbit Taylor .

Life

Nate Hartley was in January 1992 in Ravenna in the US state of Ohio as the son of Michele and Rei Hartley. First he attended Lake Elementary School in Stark County and then Lake Middle School, where he also took the theater course. After serving in local theaters for eight years, his parents moved him and his older sister to Los Angeles . There he attended an acting school and decided to become an actor. He made his acting debut in 2006 in an episode of the Bernie Mac Show . This was followed by small supporting roles in the Nickelodeon series Unfabulous and iCarly and in 2008 in the film The Great Buck Howard . He got his first leading role in the comedy Drillbit Taylor - A Man for All Accidents , where he played the role of Wade alongside Owen Wilson . For this he was nominated together with David Dorfman and Troy Gentile at the Young Artist Awards 2009 for an award in the category Best Cast in a Feature Film and in the same year won an award for Best Actor in a Feature Film . In 2009, he played a role as a LARP member in the comedy film role models ?! , two guest appearances in the Lifetime series Rita Rockt , also in Hannah Montana . In 2009 he also got the recurring supporting role of Oswald "Ozzie" Kepphart in the then new Disney XD - youth series Zeke and Luther . At the Young Artist Awards 2010 , he won an award in the category Best Guest Actor in a TV Series - 14 Years or Older for his guest role in Hannah Montana and was nominated for Zeke and Luther as Best Recurring Actor in a TV Series - 14 years or older . In 2010 he was in the films The Space Between and Dirty Girl and in a guest role in the sixth episode of the eleventh season of CSI: On the trail of the perpetrators . In 2012, he completed a guest role on the NBC - Comedy Series Best Friends Forever . In 2013 he starred in a role alongside Hugh Jackman and Chloë Moretz in Movie 43 .
