Maxence Caron (* 1976 ) is a French writer , philosopher and musicologist .

biography

Caron is an agrégé de philosophy, docteur ès lettres (Sorbonne, doctoral supervisor: Rémi Brague ) and was awarded the Prix ​​Biguet of the Académie française . He is editor of the Éditions du Cerf and founder and editor of the series Les Cahiers d'Histoire de la Philosophie . He has written several books on the German philosophers Hegel and Heidegger and on Augustine von Hippo . He has also published on Kant, Nietzsche and German music ( Johann Sebastian Bach , Mozart , Beethoven , Brahms , Richard Strauss , Anton Bruckner , Gustav Mahler , ...).
