Mckenna Grace (born June 25, 2006 in Dallas , Texas ) is an American actress and voice actress .

Life

Mckenna Grace began acting at the age of seven in the US television movie Joe, Joe & Jane from 2013. This was followed by appearances in the movies Goodbye World and Suburban Gothic in 2014 and in 2015 in Russell Wahnsinn and in the horror film Frankenstein by Bernard Rose , who premiered in April 2015 at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival .

She also made a name for herself as a series actress in the US sitcom Crash & Bernstein as Jasmine Bernstein and in the soap opera Shadow of Passion as Faith Newman . 2014 followed appearances in the television series The Bridge - America and CSI: Vegas and 2015 KC Undercover , Vampire Diaries and CSI: Cyber . In addition, she has worked in several commercials, including for Nintendo .

She also landed a role as Daisy in the July 2016 sequel to Independence Day entitled Independence Day: Return of Director Roland Emmerich, starring Jeff Goldblum , Liam Hemsworth , Bill Pullman , Maika Monroe and Charlotte Gainsbourg . In the movie production Mr. Church with Eddie Murphy she was cast for the role of Izzy . In the ABC - Thriller - and drama series Designated Survivor is as Penny Kirkman , daughter of Kiefer Sutherland's series character Tom Kirkman , made its appearance. In the horror film Amityville: The Awakening , released in 2017 , she played the role of Juliet alongside Jennifer Jason Leigh , Cameron Monaghan and Bella Thorne . In the same year she was at the side of Chris Evans as his niece Mary in the drama Gifted - The Equation of a Life by director Marc Webb to see. For this performance, she was under the Critics' Choice Movie Awards 2018 as best young actress nominated. In the film I, Tonya , she plays alongside Margot Robbie the young figure skater Tonya Harding .

In 2018 she appeared in Steven Spielberg's science fiction film Ready Player One, among others. She was also hired for the Amblin Television and Paramount Television- produced Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House , based on the novel by Shirley Jackson . She also stood in front of the camera for the television film The Bad Seed by Rob Lowe and for the comic book adaptation Captain Marvel from Marvel Studios , in which she played the young Carol Danvers . She has been cast for the lead role of Judy Warren in the third Annabelle film in the Conjuring film series .
