Liam Hemsworth (born January 13, 1990 in Melbourne , Victoria ) is an Australian actor .

Life

Hemsworth was born in Melbourne, the youngest of three children. His two older brothers Chris and Luke Hemsworth are also active as actors. When Hemsworth was eight years old, he and his family moved to Phillip Island , a small island in the Australian state of Victoria .

While at school, Hemsworth also began to consider an acting career because of his brothers' acting activities. He hired an agent to find him roles on Australian television. In 2007 he starred in the Australian television series Neighbors , in which his brothers had previously played leading roles. From 2008 to 2010 he played the attractive guitar player Marcus in the youth series Elephant Princess . He also had minor roles in the television series Satisfaction , Home and Away , McLeod's Daughters and in the films Knowing - The future ends now and Triangle - The fear comes in waves . In 2009 he moved to the United States.

Hemsworth was selected in 2009 to star in Sylvester Stallone's film The Expendables . However, his role was later removed from the script. He lost the main role in Thor to his brother Chris.

In the film With You by My Side , he embodied Miley Cyrus ' partner , with whom he then temporarily formed a couple. After a temporary separation, the two had been dating again since 2015. The couple married on December 23, 2018. In August 2019, Hemsworth and Cyrus announced their separation again. Hemsworth can be seen in the music video for Cyrus' song When I Look at You .

From 2012 to 2015 he played Gale Hawthorne in the film adaptation of The Hunger Games - The Hunger Games and its sequels The Hunger Games - Catching Fire , The Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 1 and Part 2 .

Liam Hemsworth is a vegan and has told Men's Fitness that he has not found anything negative about this diet. He only feels positive things, both mentally and physically. He was accompanied by PETA as Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity 2016 excellent.
