Doug Brochu

Douglas "Doug" Brochu (born September 29, 1990 in Fayetteville , North Carolina ) is an American actor and comedian . He was best known for his role as Grady Mitchell in the television series Sonny Munroe , where he is one of the main characters. His brother Chris and his sister Kaitlyn are also both active in the acting field, although his older brother was used in more well-known productions, but has not yet celebrated the breakthrough.

Life

Doug Brochu was born in 1990 in Fayetteville , North Carolina , where his father served in the military and where he grew up. After several moves, including to Florida , Brochu currently (as of 2011) lives in Los Angeles , California . Like many of his colleagues, he began his acting career in local theater productions, from which he also came to larger national productions in the course of time. He played in Orlando , Florida in plays like My Fair Lady or Smokey Mountain Christmas and in Los Angeles, where he was used in plays like The Play's the Thing or Forever Broadway . Through his engagement in the theater he finally found the way to being a comedian and through this the way to film and television. He had his first notable role in 2007 when he appeared as Blatzberg in an episode of Zoey 101 . In the same year he also made a guest role in the iCarly team , where he was used in three different episodes until 2008. However, Brochu celebrated his breakthrough in 2009 when he was brought into the cast of Sonny Munroe as one of the leading actors , where he then took on the role of Grady Mitchell , the best friend of Nico Harris ( Brandon Mychal Smith ), in which he to date (March 2011) has been used in almost all episodes. He was also used in 2009 as a voice actor in an episode of Disney's Barter Frenzy and was also seen in / on Disney 365 . 2010 followed a guest role as Oogie in an episode of Pair of Kings - The King Brothers . He also had other notable appearances in Disney Channel's Totally New Year 2008 , a New Year's event that was broadcast on the night of December 31, 2008 to January 1, 2009, and in 2010 in Disney Get Connected , where he as he himself appeared. He was also seen at the annual Hollywood Christmas Parade in 2010 alongside a number of well-known personalities from film and television. Although he has a rather lazy and always hungry character in the series Sonny Munroe , in real life he is very enthusiastic about sports and active in various sports.
