Brandon Mychal Smith
Brandon Mychal Smith (born May 29, 1989 in Long Island ) is an American actor , comedian and rapper . He became known to a wider audience through the series Phil from the Future , Sonny Munroe and the TV movie StarStruck .
Career
Brandon Smith started acting at the age of eight. He later worked in a commercial for the sporting goods manufacturer Nike alongside Tiger Woods .
In addition to a recurring role as Mario in Unfabulous , he was cast for the leading roles in the US series Phil from the Future and Sonny Munroe . He also acted in the 2010 Disney Channel movie StarStruck - The Star Who Loved Me With, where he also sang the theme song.
Smith won the Family Television Award and Young Artist Award in 2007 for his role as Tayshawn in the Ron Clark Story .
His German voice is spoken by David Turba .
