action
Jessica Olson visits her grandmother in Los Angeles with her parents and sister Sarah . Sarah really wants to get to know her idol there, the pop star Christopher Wilde. He gets an offer for an acting role at the same time if he spends the weekend at home and doesn't get into trouble with paparazzi. However, since he had promised his girlfriend Alexis a gig for her birthday, he uses the back entrance to the club. Sarah, who has heard of rumors, also drives to the club, for which she has to drag her sister along so that she does not get in trouble from her parents. When Jessica wants to look for her inside and use the back entrance, she is knocked over by Christopher Wilde. Then he takes her to the doctor and, because he had promised not to leave the house, to himself briefly and then to her home. However, because of the paparazzi , he cannot go back. At the beginning, Jessica feels the young star as arrogant and has learned through the strange behavior of her sister to abhor him, so that she not only contradicts all of his statements, but is also not very enthusiastic that he wants to stay in her grandmother's garage. When Christopher - still on the run from paparazzi - shows her around the city the next day and the two get to know each other better, they do become friends. They are found by paparazzi on a country road and flee chaotically through the wasteland - much to Christopher's favor, who finally feels free. This free Christopher does not want to hand Jessica over to the paparazzi and therefore ends an impending relationship prematurely - again in his old arrogant way. In order to get a film role, Christopher denies any friendship with Jessica in front of the reporters. Jessica is disappointed but tells reporters that she did not meet the Christopher they are so proud of. After Jessica's conversation with the reporters, which Christopher sees on television, he realizes that his life is controlled by others and not his own. He shoots out the film offer, apologizes to Jessica - back in her home country - with a specially composed song and claims to have lied in front of the camera.
