Antoinette Lindsay Trucks (born September 30, 1980 in Grand Rapids , Michigan ) is an American actress .

Life

Antoinette Lindsay Trucks grew up in Manistee . Her father is of Swedish and Welsh descent. Her grandfather is called Ford Trucks and was born in 1915, before Ford Trucks even existed. She attended the Interlochen Arts Academy during her youth. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in acting and singing . She then moved to New York City , where she got one of the lead roles in the television series Barbershop . The series was canceled after ten episodes and Trucks has since been in films such as Mitten ins Herz - Ein Song für dich and StarStruck - The Star Who Loved Me, as well as in other television series such as Veronica Mars , Dr. House and CSI: NY .
