Tichina Arnold
Tichina Arnold (born June 28, 1969 in Queens , New York City , New York , USA ) is an American film actress . She was best known for her portrayal of Rochelle in the cast of the comedy series Everyone Hates Chris .
Life
The daughter of a sanitation department worker and a police officer attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts . Aside from school performances, Tichina Arnold appeared in 1986 as one of three choir girls in Frank Oz 's musical Little Shop of Horrors with Tisha Campbell . Now her career began with roles in films such as How I Got into College . In 1987 she made her breakthrough on television with the series role in the soap opera as Zena Brown in Ryan's Hope. For this she was nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award in 1988.
She then played Pamela James in Martin Lawrence sitcom Martin from 1992 to 1997 and Nicole Barnes in sitcom One on One . In 2000 she acted again with Martin Lawrence in Big Momma's House , as well as in 2007 when she appeared this time as his wife in the movie Wild Hogs . From 2005 to 2009 she was Rochelle on the sitcom Everybody Hates Chris . Arnold has a daughter Kai (* 2004), the father is the music producer Carvin Haggins.
