Crucifixion scene in Bellebat

The bas-relief with the crucifixion scene in the church of St-Jacques in Bellebat , a French commune in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the 13th century. The Crucifixion of granite was established in 1971 as a monument historique in the list of the listed objects ( Base Palissy ) incorporated in France.

The crucifixion scene above the portal depicts the crucifixion in a quatrefoil with the apostle John on the right and Mary on the left .
